Paier College of Art is for students who want a career in the visual arts, and have the potential and motivation to work towards this professional goal. At Paier they will learn in an environment where faculty and students, together, shape a creative atmosphere.

Applicants may be men or women with little or no formal experience in art, but with strong interest in developing their skills, provided that they have completed high school, or its equivalent (some high school juniors and seniors may take selected classes for credit). Admissions for all will be determined through the qualities displayed in a portfolio interview, transcripts of prior study, and two letters of recommendation. Paier College of Art maintains a rolling admissions system in which acceptances are made throughout the year. Students may apply for full-, part-time, or non-matriculated status. Regardless of status, the admissions procedure must be followed. With limited openings in the Freshman class, early application is advised.
