Location & Directions
 The
Paier College campus consists of five buildings located in Hamden,
CT (pop. 59,000), in a neighborhood setting within a suburban
locale just north of New Haven (pop. 124,000). Eight colleges
and universities, as well as other cultural centers the Yale
Gallery, the Peabody Museum, the Mellon Center for British Art;
the Beinecke Rare Book Library; the Shubert, Long Wharf, and Yale
Repertory Theaters; as well as many other visual and performing
arts facilities are all within easy access to the College.
Greater New Haven also offers a wide array of restaurants, hotels,
shopping malls, and historic sites, as well as entertainment and
recreational areas that provide a varied and stimulating environment
for Paier students.
Paier is also situated just minutes south of the Wilbur Cross
Parkway (Rte. 15) and is within easy reach of the Hartford Capital
region (38 miles), New York City (78 miles), and Boston (154 miles)
by car, bus, or train. Connecticut, southernmost of the New England
states, offers access to beaches, lakes, rivers, mountains, and
a variety of scenic and outdoor activities. In fact, all of the
northeast, rich in the traditions of early America, and alive
with creative energy and a long-standing commitment to education,
surrounds the Paier student with almost limitless opportunities
of diverse cultural experience.

Driving
Directions

Directions From New York: Take Merritt Parkway, which
turns into the Wilbur Cross Parkway (Rt.15) north to Exit
60. At end of exit ramp, take a right (south) onto Dixwell
Avenue. Go approximately 1.25 miles. Look for a Stop & Shop
on left side of Dixwell Avenue, then at the very next light
take a hair-pin right onto Circular Avenue. The College will
be on your left, just after the parking lot for the bank on
the corner.
From Hartford: Take Wilbur Cross Parkway (Rt. 15) south
to Exit 60. Take a right (south) onto Dixwell Avenue. (From
this point on, follow the directions above.)
From the East: Take I-95 South to I-91 North. Take
exit 3, Trumbull Street. Straight through on Trumbull to Whitney
Avenue. Take a right on Whitney for approximately 3 miles
into Hamden. Left onto Putnam Avenue. At the end of Putnam
Avenue go across Dixwell Avenue and take a half-right onto
Circular Avenue. The College will be on your left, just after
the parking lot for the bank on the corner. If you have any

From Waterbury: Take Prospect Road Rt. 69 toward New
Haven. Pick up the Wilbur Cross Parkway (Rt. 15) North to
Exit 60. (From this point on, follow the directions from New
York City shown above.)
